How do I verify my mobile number?


Verify during signing up EasyParcel account

If you haven't signed up yet, you can learn how simple it is here. Plus, once you sign up, you'll receive delivery coupons worth RM10! Right after you sign up for a free EasyParcel account, the system will bring you straight to a prompt for Quick Verification request. 

Simply click on the "Send Code" button, and the system will send you an OTP code via SMS to the number you have registered for the account. Enter the 6-digit verification code in the space provided and click "Submit".


Verify after signing up on Profile page

Another way to verify your mobile number is through your profile edit. Here's how:

Step 1: Log in to your account, click Profile dropdown and click "Profile".

Step 2: Scroll down until you see Mobile Number and click the grey button that says "Verify Now".

Step 3: The system will bring you to the Quick Verification request, where you'll click the "Send Code" button. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number via SMS. Enter the 6-digit code in the space provided and click "Submit".

Note: If you did not receive your verification code or OTP via SMS, you may check the reasons here and get it fixed so you can receive the code.

  1. Q: Why can't I sign up with my mobile number?
    A: If you can’t sign up with your mobile number, it may already be linked to an existing EasyParcel account. This could be due to having an existing account or your number being recycled. Contact us to reclaim your number. Learn more [here].
  2. Q: Why do I need to verify my mobile number?
    A: Verifying your mobile number helps authenticate your account registration and validate that it's you make the sign-up. It’s also required for securing financial transactions, such as top-ups, where you'll receive an OTP for confirmation. For more information, check out our article.  
  3. Q: Why did I not receive my verification code/One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS?
    A: You might not receive your OTP due to an incorrect mobile number, poor signal, network congestion, or a blocked number. Other reasons include full phone memory, spam filters, outdated software, incorrect time settings, or SIM card issues. 
  4. Q: How can I receive the code via SMS?
    A: Double-check your mobile number, restart your phone, clear memory, and check your spam folder and DND settings. You can also update your phone software, correct time settings, or contact your service provider if your number is blocked, For more information, check out our article
