What is Cash on Delivery (COD)?
Cash on Delivery is a payment method where customers/receivers pay their orders with cash at the moment they receive their package from couriers.
At EasyParcel, we acknowledge that a lot of customers/receivers prefer to pay with cash. Thus, we provide the Cash on Delivery (COD) service.
You may choose to create COD shipments that allow COD payment method for your customers/receivers who prefer to pay with cash for their items.
Note: COD service is only applicable for domestic shipments within West Malaysia. It is not available for shipments to East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak) or for any international shipments.
How does COD service work in EasyParcel?
Step 1: Log in or create an account to book and enable COD service in EasyParcel.
Step 2: Drop off your parcel or wait for couriers to pick up.
Step 3: Couriers collect cash payment from receivers upon arrival.
Step 4: Make a withdrawal request on COD settlement page once the status is "to release".
Note: Make sure to verify your account to be able to proceed with the withdrawal. You may also learn our guide here on how to verify your account successfully.
Step 5: The payout amount will release to sender's account within 3-4 working days.
Note: COD charges will be deducted from the payout amount directly. You may learn more here on how to get your settlement amount.
