Who is responsible for paying the COD charges and shipping fee?


Introduction

The COD collection charges and shipping fees are two separate and distinct fees. The payment of these fees can be borne by either the seller or the receiver. While COD charges are deducted from the COD amount collected by your courier, the shipping fee is deducted from the seller's EasyParcel credit on their account.


Scenario 1: Seller A bears both COD charges and shipping fees

COD charges: Under COD amount, only the product amount is keyed in and the courier shall only receive the product amount from the receiver.

Shipping fee: Is deducted from the seller's EasyParcel credit.


Scenario 2: Seller B bears the shipping fees only

COD charges: (The receiver bears the COD charges) Under COD amount, both the product amount and COD charges are keyed in by the seller for the courier to collect.

Shipping fee: Is deducted from the seller's EasyParcel credit.


Scenario 3: Seller C bears the COD charges only

COD charges: Under COD amount, seller key in product amount and shipping fee, which will be collected by the courier.

Shipping fee: (The receiver bears the shipping fee) Is deducted from the seller's EasyParcel credit)


Scenario 4: Seller D wants the receiver to bear both COD charges and shipping fee

COD charges: (The receivers bear both COD charges & shipping fee) Under COD amount, seller keys in product amount, COD charges and shipping fee, which will be collected by the courier.

Shipping fee: Is deducted from seller's EasyParcel credit.
