What is the insurance / protection claims progress on EasyParcel?

Quick Summary

EasyParcel insurance/protection claims are reviewed within 1–3 working days, with total processing typically taking 2–4 weeks depending on the courier. Users can track, update, and view the status of their claims directly through the "Protection Claim" section in their EasyParcel account. 


Once you file an insurance / protection claim with documents, the EasyParcel team will look into your report within 1–3 working days. In the event that your document is complete, we will submit the documents for your claim to your selected courier. The processing time may vary depending on the couriers, but on average, claims are typically processed within 2-4 weeks.

Note: If your supporting documents are found to be incomplete or incorrect, you are required to resubmit the documents needed within the time frame given. This will extend the claim processing timeline.

Once your claim is approved, the claim amount will be released to your bank account within 7-14 working days or credited instantly to your EasyParcel account, depending on which method you chose. You may learn more on what each claim status means here.
